Thie event is moving in 2006 from Old Liverpool Airfield to the Daresbury Estate, Halton, Cheshire from 3pm on Saturday to 6am on Sunday. As ever, it'll happen on the August Bank Holiday weekend, and is the friendliest large dance festival around with lots of live acts, and masses of DJs.Acts for this year are now confirmed.

Headlining: Prodigy, Gnarls Barkley, Goldfrapp & The Zutons.

Reading and Leeds Festivals 25th-27th August 2006

This event is held in Reading, Berkshire on the 25th, 26th, and 27th August is twined with the Leeds Festival held in Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire with the bands interchanging on different days. With five stages including Main Stage, the Radio1/NME Stage, The Lock-up Stage (two days at each site this year), The Comedy Stage, and the Carling Stage, and there on site facilities, Bars, Cash Points, First Aid & Paradmedics, Food & Non Food Stalls, Information. Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

Rudgwick Music Festival 19th August 2006

This event will be held on the Springbok Estate, Alford, Surrey from noon on 19th August 2006. The bands due to play include Willie Austin, More, Chicago Thieves, Hard to Handle, Old Blue Moses, On Fire, Quo-caine, and S.K.P.

Adult tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the day (Accompanied children free) Concessions for O.A.P's, Students and unemployed and Parking is free

V Festival 19th-20th August 2006

Now recognised as one of the major events in the festival calendar, this two-day extravaganza takes place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, with the same bands alternating between the venues on the Saturday and Sunday.

Headlining: Radiohead and Morrissey, with Faithless, Beck, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Keane

Jazz Cafe Picnic 13th August 2006

This event will be held in the grounds of Marble Hill, Riverside, Twickenham on the 13th August from 1:30pm. What could be more enjoyable than lazing away a Sunday afternoon, soaking up laid back beats and jazz infused music in the grounds of one of England's finest stately homes?

This all-day event is open to young people, music fans and families, and is a refreshing alternative to the ever-increasing popular rock festivals. The crowd is made up of all ages and particularly attracts the former clubbing generation who, armed with babies, buggies and toddlers are happy to swap hot n‘ sweaty, soulful house for chilled-out, soulful jazz in the lovely British outdoors.
