Surrey Open Studios 2-17 June 2007

Now in its eighth year, this annual event offers a glinse inside the working studios of the many artists in Surrey. This year the project has attracted a record 245 participants. There are studios in all of the eleven districts that make up the county, Elmbridge, Epson & Ewell, Guildford, Mole Valley, Reigate and Banstead, Runnymede, Spellthorne, Surrey Heath, Tandridge, Waverley, Woking. Most will be open betwwen 12pm to 6pm and untill 8.30pm on Thursdays. You can find out more about the artists, workshops and links to local arts organisations on the Open Studios 2007 website. The workshops are ever more popular and this year there will be 16 workshops on offer to the public. These include an introduction to feltmaking, glass fusing, indigo dyeing, stone carving, and woodturning.
